On Thursday, August 4, 2005, Keith Warren of "Keith Warren's Outdoor Adventures," his family, staff and forum volunteers will host and present the first "Sportsmen Saying Thanks" event at the Soldier and Family Assistance Center at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas for our injured Soldiers and their Families.

The "Soldier and Family Assistance Center" currently provides 150 beds for injured Soldiers. The centers director is Judith Markelz and is run by volunteers.

Guest performers will include the well-known Texas artist Robert Earl Keen and the internationally recognized "Heart Of Texas" men's chorus out of San Marcos, Texas.

Dawn Earley, owner of "Your Very Own Fairy Godmother," one of Central and South Texas' top wedding and event coordinating companies located in Round Rock will provide all of the planning and event coordination services.

Many other volunteers and companies will assist in presenting this event including a live remote broadcast from the 550 AM KTSA radio station and an appearance by the San Antonio Spurs mascot.

Holtz Entertainment will donate and provide all live sound services and equipment for performers and presentations during this event.
