The holidays, travel, more holidays, engagements, birthdays, and then the clean-up after the holidays have kept most of us very busy for the past few weeks. I'm a bit ashamed that it has taken me much longer this year to get all of my decorations down and put away than in years past. Usually they are down on the 1st and put away by the 6th. I missed those marks ENTIRELY, but I don't seem to be alone. I was, however, able to spend a great deal more time with my extended family this year than I have in a long time. For those of you who don't know, I have a 3 year old son, and we had the opportunity to spend more than a week with my mom, my grandmother, my grandfather, and my great-grandmother (as well as the rest of the family.) We had five generations enjoying one of my favorite times of year, and I can't think of a better reason to be a bit behind on the "clean-up." I hope that your holidays - Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, or otherwise were filled with as much love and sincere gratitude as ours were this year.
The Fairy Godmothers just completed a Quincenera in Mazatlan, and we can't wait to post pictures!
