Quincenera in Mazatlan

Pin It We had the awesome opportunity the plan a modern quincenera with an old fashion twist.
The theme was "winter wonderland meets pretty in pink". Details like pink and purple organza linens with sequins, lanterns, boas, candles, disco balls and silver snowflakes were part of the decorations in this January event.
The invitations were purple wristlets printed with all the details of Israeli's party, and that was your ticket to the party.
The religious ceremony started a 6 pm, and the birthday girl wore a traditional quincenera dress for the first part of the event.
The ceremony included 3 different dances with the birthday girl, her attendants, and (of course) dad. They spent 3 weeks (4 times per week) rehearsing to make sure everything was flawless, and it was! Other traditions like the ring, candle, doll, etc. were part of the religious celebration as well.
Once the ceremony was over, a Hummer limo picked the guest of honor along with the rest of her attendants up for a drive along the main parts of the city. The car was stocked with sparkling cider and other snacks. Everyone had a blast, and the driver stopped in major city landmarks for photos and video.
Once they arrived at her parents house for the reception, she quickly changed in a modern bubble dress to for dinner and dancing. The party was a huge success, and Israeli went to bed pretty happy that night.
Congratulations again!
