Meet Our Vendors: Southern's Fine Dining

We had heard wonderful things about Southern's Fine Dining and Steve Southern, but we hadn't had the opportunity to work with them.  We changed that!  We did a tasting in my home at the end of our full day of seminars (you can hear one of my little ones at one point); Clay brought some items over, and we all found favorites.  My personal favorite was the Chicken Tamale stuffed Chicken Breast over Cheesy Corn Risotto with Green Chile Cream Sauce.  You can see the slices of chicken breast that were rolled around the chicken tamale.  That whole dish was my favorite, and I could have eaten the entire platter. by. myself.  Another big favorite among the Fairy Godmothers were the Spinach and Artichoke stuffed mushrooms.

  • Grilled Veggies brushed with Sun-dried Tomato Vinaigrette (top left)
  • Grilled beef tri-tip steak with carmelized Dr. Pepper glaze (top right plate)
