Hyatt Lost Pines Resort & Spa is a hidden gem tucked away outside of Austin, but still close enough to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to be a great destination. They invited us out to see some of the new things they had to offer, and although it turned out to be a very rainy and cold day, Katherine Zimmerman and Stacy Seaborn were incredibly creative and put together a great presentation without dragging us through the cold wet weather.
We were greeted with hot cider and hot chocolate and a few appetizers by the fire before going to view their guestrooms (all with great views and patios.)Brenda Abbott did an amazing job with all of the florals, and Illusions provided some stunning rentals. The in-house A/V team, Felix Mares (512-308-4871) and Josh Allen (512-308-4870) of VAE, were instrumental in pulling off the event.
Executive Chef Suttichai Sripolpa, known as "Chef Sutti", put together a fabulous meal and a truly decadent dessert display.
